External morphology

Small lateral palps and tufts. Size 21.6 mm x 23 mm.

Discovered in Sydney by FORC occlupanologist Kurisu on bags of Coles and Lawson’s bread. In its habitat, Peratrox subtilis has largely replaced its congener P. amplidentis as of 2022. Its oral groove more closely mimics that of Palpatophora utiliformis grandis. Species described by Kurisu.
