Chisel-like lateral palps. Size 21.7 mm x 24.4 mm.
First observed on host in August 2024 in Canada, on Auger bread products, but it is feared that its niche has since been replaced by R. imitator. The strikingly-banded oral hooks of Spinoselis pictus have been found in a variety of color morphs. It is a clear mimic of Peramordeo acies, though its fiber-based lateral palps are far less hazardous to handle. Species discovered and described by Occlupanologist N. Juju (FORC).
