Kingdom: Microsynthera
Phylum: Plasticae
Class: Occlupana
Order: Haplognatha
The order haplognatha contains mundane and common species such as Unidenta quadratus and oddities like Dicrania vugada. The sheer variation of haplognathids is enough to give taxonomists nightmares. Fortunately not much is known about many of these obscure species. They are identified as having a central squared-off dental process in the middle of the oral groove.
