Its use in our society is ignored, and its fascinating forms and colors are underappreciated. In order to promote greater occlupanid awareness, and to introduce a comprehensive taxonomy to the scientific community, HORG was founded.<\/p>\n

We welcome any and all such contributions to science! If you have found an occlupanid in a unique location, or discovered a new biome of an existing species, please let us know! We are also especially on the lookout for rare occlupanids of any<\/em> species of the following families: Acutignathidae<\/a>, Angulognathidae<\/a>, Concavigulidae<\/a>, Kamptoconidae<\/a>, Odontotrochidae<\/a>, and the\u00a0Spinosacculidae<\/a>,<\/p>\n

Our global-outreach division is also hoping to acquire specimens from Russia, China, and the continents of South America, Africa and Antarctica.<\/p>\n

The fields of synthetic taxonomy are ever-expanding, thanks in large part to the planet-wide network of tireless and entirely unpaid amateur occlupanologists such as yourself.<\/p>\n
