The first of the cartonalia to be scientifically described. Bright white with dentition clearly that of a Tridentid occlupanid, this clever occlupanid-mimic is in fact entirely comprised of fine paper fibers, marking it as part of Kingdom Papyrae, one of the newly discovered Occlupanopsida.\u00a0 Octangulum fibrosum<\/em> was discovered by occlupanologist A. Lee (FORC) on bags of generic Wonder Bread products in Melbourne, Australia, alongside specimens of Palpatophora glyphodorsalis<\/em>. Curiously, the markings on O. fibrosum<\/em> mimicked that of P. glyphodorsalis<\/em>, if not its shape.
