Collected 2018 In New York City. This Occlupanopsid was found in a rain-filled street gutter, its paper-pulp fibers fully engorged with water. Large, thin and delicate, the markings on its large macula resemble those of a local Children’s Hospital. It is possible that C. nosocomialis<\/em> left its former hospital biome to gain access to water. Coincidentally, this cartonalia was collected during a visit to Mmuseumm<\/a> to witness HORG’s display of collected occlupanids. What was then just another oddball toxodentid-mimic is now generating proper scrutiny as an early harbinger of a wave of Chartoniphytic species to come.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
