Currently represented by only a single specimen of curious lineage, Family Unduladentidae itself exists in a liminal taxonomic zone. The undulations in its oral groove are too smooth truly be considered dential processes, but they are also too wide to be considered as gular furrows. As such, this taxon has situated itself snugly between both the Tridentids and Corrugatids. Could this be a missing link between the two? Only time, data, and endless discussions can tell for sure.<\/p>\n
