Life and Habits: P. glyphodorsalis is a rare and controversial variant of P. utiliformis, as much debate rages on if P. glyphodorsalis is truly a separate species or not. If you think this is tedious and silly, you should see the poison pen treatises about extinct homalozoans. The largely inconclusive debates of occlupanid speciation are nothing next to these bitter paleontological entrenchments.
