Distinguished from its other taxonomic siblings in the Unidentia<\/em> complex by its wide oral groove. Discovered on a bag of hamburger buns by field researcher J. Wright during a Memorial Day picnic in Morgantown, West Virginia. Like many others of genus Unidentia<\/em>, U. wrightae <\/em>possesses small processes on outside of oral hooks, and behind the aboral region. A curious variation<\/a> has been discovered on bags of sweet potatoes in Canada, with additional growth surrounding these processes.
