The sole specimen thus far observed was found in a mixed species occlupanid colony in Calabasas, CA. The external morphology of B. quies is nearly identical to Stylodentis ubiquitous<\/em>, however B. quies\u2019<\/em> oral groove and dential process are much shorter, similar to Toroidopanis substrictus. One researcher has postulated that B. quies<\/em> is a transitional species between S. ubiquitous and T. substrictus. We feel there is too little data available to evaluate this hypothesis at this time. Discovered and described by occlupanologist C.
