The primary habitat of this bizarre occlupanid is hardware stores, where it can be\u00a0found attached to bags containing industrial duct tubing. Previously only known in California, a second specimen was collected by paleontologists in Montana. Previously placed in genus Cyrtotergum, the subsequent discovery of a second Archignathan species sharing a similar morphology has helped to push this occlupanid into a new genus, and with it a new species name honoring the founder of the Two Medicine Dinosaur Center, David Trexler. The only other occlupanid to sport such an arresting morphology is\u00a0the Toxodentid Uniporus Vaportubis.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
