Initially found on the island of a communal kitchen by FORC occlupanologist Kurisu. When an attempt was made to transport the specimen via a trouser pocket, Peratrox amplidentis<\/em> was later found clinging tenaciously onto the pocket fabric with its oral hooks. Further study confirmed that it was found on bags of Coles and Lawson’s bread. These invasive occlupanopsids are found to be highly competitive for niches: In its grocery habitat, P. amplidentis<\/em> has largely been replaced by its congener, P. subtilis<\/em>. Its oral groove somewhat mimics that of Palpatophora utiliformis grandis<\/em>, only with larger dential processes.
