The first Angulognathid to have been found in North America; all previous species have been sighted only in Japan, and those rarely. A small handful of Q. oregan<\/em>a were collected by occlupanologist A. Welby in a hoard from the state of Oregon. Evidence of amicula<\/em> on the obverse side was observed on all specimens. It is conjectured by Welby that this Angulognathid may have used its flattened oral groove to hold onto large rubber bands, a notable change from its Japanese relatives who were all discovered on bags of pastries. Until more observations of its life habits can be collected, Quadraenicta oregana<\/em> will live up to its name as being very enigmatic, indeed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
