This curious Toxodentid appears to be a close match to Palpatophora utiliformis grandis<\/em>, but the discerning microsyntherologist will notice some unusual features that separate it from most other Palpatophors. First and foremost is the slightly warped and uneven appearance to the integument<\/a>\u00a0. Secondly, this species invariably features a large protuberance on its more rounded side. These curious features call to mind The mysterious Mycognathid Lanciprendo rectangulus<\/em><\/a>. Specimens of P. chilensis<\/em> was first found in 2020 on a bag of apples imported from Chile. it has since been found across North America. Species described by occlupanologist A.
