Discovered in Sydney, Australia on a bag of Helga’s Mixed Grain sliced bread, and has since been found on Wonder brand sliced bread products. Has a similar outer edge to Undulatus ursupator<\/em>. Species name is in reference to the notable tear on its glossy yet fragile facing integument. Previously only grey color morphs of this species has been collected, often on Thursdays. A specimen with a naturalistic and stiffer integument has been collected in Aotearoa (New Zealand); It is possible that these occlupanopsids are developing sturdier defenses to their surroundings.
