This specimen discovered on a bag of Ice from Eastern Ice in Brockton, Massachusetts. A notable feature of the specimen found is the thickness of its integument; at a whopping 2.3 mm, it beats even Oosoma feniseca<\/em><\/a> and Megavegivendus crassicorpa<\/em><\/a> as thickest occlupanid known to science. This specimen bears the hallmark of the Planotectidae; the only somewhat vaguely discernable flattened oral groove that has bedeviled many a morphometrics analyst. It is hoped that more information can come to light about this sturdy occlupanid of the Northeast.
