Specimen discovered by observant field researcher A. Jackae, who found this cyaneus<\/em> blue color morph at an Aldi store in Australia, attached to a bag of Wild Rise sourdough bread. It is remarkablly similar to Megapanis sonorus<\/em><\/a>, which was itself once considered to be a subspecies of M. gregjubyi<\/em>. It can be distinguished by having a narrower paraoral adit, gentler oral hooks, and lower distal palps, a trait shared with other recently observed populations of genus Megapanis<\/em>. Is this how the future of the genus will flow, or are these specimens a splash in the river of microsyntheric time?
