Discovered by occlupanologist EF Lipton, D. vugada<\/em> is one of the more puzzling of the occlupanids. The function of the secondary oral groove remains an enthralling mystery. Some researchers think it could be analogous to many fish with eyespots on their tails, but nobody seems to know what predator D. vugada<\/em> would be trying to avoid. In 2021 Field Researcher W.
