Odontotrochidae
“Toothed wheel”

Family Odontotrochidae are placed under the Kirigami, and indeed share many similar characteristics with their sister taxon, the Kamptoconidae. Currently represented by a single species from Japan, Odontotrochids are distinguished by long flexible outward-curving oral hooks, surrounding a small circular ring ridged with smaller dential processes, resembling a gear. In addition to unique hooking arms, Odontotrochidae also possess interlocking tubercles and small fenestra on its lateral sides, all incredible adaptations that allow it to buckle into a three-dimensional shape.
