Crisp blue markings. Size 43.15 mm x 22.2 mm

Discovered by occluarcheologist E. Welby during an excavation of large deposits of ancient hoarded occlupanids. Nearly identical to Stenocorpus dissimilis, the variations of are subtle but unmistakable: Unlike the nearly spherical oral groove of S. dissimilis, the oral groove of S. arcanus is an even-nearerly perfect sphere. While microscope observations confirm some degradation in the oral hooks that might contribute to this perception, there is more to S. arcanus than meets the eye.
