Blobular asymmetrical lateral palps. Thin ridge along edge. Size 7.9 mm x 9.5 mm

This miniscule microsyntheran is one of the smallest toxodentids yet recorded. Its dential processes are nearly vestigial, but still recognizable as a toxodentid oral groove. When viewed under magnification, it reveals soft wavy features, along with a thin ridge along its medial edge. Found on discontinued Re-Ment miniature food series ぷちストア, clutched onto a tiny bag of imitation bread (see Fig. 2). As in other “micropanids”, the oral hooks are atrophied, possibly due to lack of serious competition in its singular niche. Species discovered and described by N. Juju (FORC)
