External morphology

Many markings present. Size 21.8 mm x 24.5 mm.

Researchers from DWORC had postulated that a species would be found with an oral groove between the sizes of those of A. aotearoa, and A. groningensis.  So it was no great surprise that an Admordorsid fitting this description was finally encountered. Its oral groove is of the type most common among Tridentids, such as S. hollandium and C. simplistica. A. floridensis stands out for the vibrancy of the color morphs that have been observed, including bright yellow, deep green and lapis blue. Discovered and described by occlupanologist C. Huning of DWORC.
