Thick integument, lateral palps. 43 mm x 33.5 mm.

S. Lucio from the Foundation for Occlupanid Research and Communication discovered a second species of Novenocentrid on a bag of Ice in Massachusetts. Species named in honor of a co-discoverer. Though its oral groove is smaller than C. chaos, C. gregigelida still wields a signature array of unyielding dential spines. Daring field researchers bound for surveys of North American ice-boxes are therefore cautioned to handle this occlupanid with due care, and to watch their fingers.
