External morphology

Size 43 mm x 25 mm

Collected by occlupanologist E. Welby of New Hampshire, who discovered it in a large pile of more common occlupanids.  Nothing else is known about this striking specimen. Occlupanids from the Porrectofrontus genus are some of the oldest described, but their frequency had been diminishing in the ensuing decades. However, recent sightings of this and other congeners in 2020 may be sign of a recurrence.
