Constrictula rugosa is a once rare and distinctive beast that increased its numbers and speciation.  Observant occlupanologist K Andrews discovered several specimens clinging to mesh bags of potatoes at a Traders Joes grocery store in Santa Cruz, California. All shared the deep reddish color as our holotype specimen, but white color morphs have recently been found.
