A. brysi possesses a smaller oral groove than A. thinicola. Much like A. thinicola, it can be found in a bright variety of hues. Named in honor of its discoverer, the occlupanologist T. Brys who also is credited with discovering Taxoflora longifolia and Deuterofenestrum texastertrochus
