External morphology

Elongated and flexible body. Two squared-off indentations along side. Oral hooks extremely brittle. Body length 76 mm x 25 mm.

Taxoflora longifolia are identified by a squared-off oral groove accompanied by an acutely angled oral hooks. Found clinging to azalea bushes at a Texas State Fair. Discovered by Occlupanologist T. Brys. Only known species collected of the Frangichelidae (“brittle claw”) , though other different shades observed. Its adaptation to outdoor vegetation is curious, considering the fragile oral hooks which can break off if not carefully handled by the occlupanologist.
