Hot off the systemic heels of Orectochela columnaris comes another Tridentid of historical import. E. Welby discovered this brilliant specimen as part of several deep excavations of hoarded occlupanids. Orectochela tacitus has a smaller oral groove than O. columnaris. Its elongated body contains a splendid variety of markings.
