Size 35. mm X 21.5 mm

Discovered by field researcher S. Solignac in Montréal, on a mesh bag of grapefruits all the way from Vero Beach, Florida, a staggering distance of over 2,400km.  C. nomas has a thicker integument (1.18mm) than Elasticaprehendus rugosa. It is conjectured that this sturdier physiology allows C. nomas to shoulder such a hefty fruit-laden burden for such an impressive distance.
