External morphology

Small lateral palps, notches, and tufts. Size 21.4 mm x 24 mm.

Discovered and described by occlupanologist Kurisu (FORC) on various bags of bread products in Sydney grocery stores. U. usurpator has been known to aggressively take over habitats favored by the occlupanopsid Molestus illusio, which only recently outcompeted Palpatophora glyphodorsalis in that same niche. It is thought that U. usurpator is perhaps a more evolved version of M. illusio, but to what end the notches play in its speciation is unclear.
