Small rounded asymmetrical palps. Size 21.3 mm x 24.75 mm.

L. usitatus gets its name due it unusually curved fang like oral hooks. Its discovery in 2020 coincides with that of the Toxodentid Amydromorphus lissobunus. It is conjectured that these occlupanids have converged to fill a similar niche, though it is unknown if L. usitatus has a predilection for bagels. It has been observed in at least eight different color morphs, including white, pale blue, yellow, orange, tan, pink, and red. Discovered and described by occlupanologist C. Huning of DWORC.
