Size 25.9 mm x 21.7 mm

A variant of P. utiliformis with a larger oral groove. Common and increasing in number of sightings. Y. Klish has observed specimens of P.u. grandis  attached to bags of produce in New Zealand. Several field researchers including Z. Schmidt and R. Yuen, have noted P.u. grandis‘ unique habit of attaching itself to bags of milk in Ontario, Canada.
