For years very little information could be found regarding this occlupanid, as most were collected from bags found in a grandmother’s basement. Recently several bearing impressive paper tags have been discovered in Australia. Despite these recent flashier finds, HORG steadfastly displays the simple original holotype discovered in San Francisco in 1996.
