Various bluish markings. 42.8 mm x 22.3 mm.

Several of these tridentids were discovered by occlupanologist E. Welby during excavation of a particularly large deposit of hoarded occlupanids in Manchester, NH. Similar in size to the elongated Captospinula elongatus, the differences in morphology of the oral groove warranted its own genus. In retrospect, this decision may have been a mistake because now restive taxonomists may call for a revision of the entire Captospinula genus, keeping everybody late at the office.
