External morphology

Small sharp lateral palps. Size 21.7 mm x 24.7 mm.

Multiple reports of this occlupanid have surfaced in Eastern North America, though its range may be larger. This handsome roseus specimen, found by scholar O. Carpenter, was discovered on a bag of pizza dough in Dartmouth, MA. Simultaneously field researcher N. Julliand reported a similar new Peramordeo species attached to a bag of pita bread near Montreal in Québec.  Clearly this occlupanid favors multiple forms of bagged  flatbread in both cooked and uncooked varieties. As with all members of this genus, care should be taken when handling, due to its sharpened palps. Its oral groove is slightly wider than that of P. acies.
