External morphology

Size 21 mm x 22 mm.

Externally similar to the only other known Concavigulid, Occultatheca ragsdalei, T. callere differs in having a much smaller oral groove, giving it extremely thick “jaws”. The sole specimen was found in a highly diverse colony of other occlupanids, including Archignathids, Haplognathids, Toxodentids, and Tridentids.  Nothing else is known about its age or life habits. The Concavigulidae continue to be a source of mystery. Discovered and described by occlupanologist C. Huning of DWORC.
