External morphology

Prominent processes on oral and aboral edge. Size 28 mm x 21.7 mm.

This occlupanopsid is commonly found in freezing conditions, and has been observed preying on bags of Unbun brand gluten-free bread, and other frozen bread products. Without the waxy cuticle found on other occlupanopsids, it is surprising that it can survive in the frozen-watery wastes of ice boxes. Perhaps its burly oral hooks provide ample insulation. Specimen discovered by FORC occlupanologist Cale L. in Southern Ontario.
