Prominent processes on oral and aboral edge. Size 26.7 mm x 21.5 mm.
This Haplognathid-mimic appears to share much the same body plan as genus Incertus, but there are some key differences; The raptoral stricture of P. ferrerae is deeper, and the first oral furrows in its oral groove are partially filled in, giving an angular look to its gular pouches. While hard to discern, this contrasting image (fig. 1) should provide greater clarity. The body is thicker and studier than other known species in the Haplognathaceae. Specimen discovered by Field Researcher O. Ferrer in Arizona, USA on a bag of buckwheat sourdough.
