The most unusual member of the Corrugatidae is without a doubt the one least in size. The oral groove of this micro-corrugatid is clearly adapted to life in miniature, its gular furrows opened into a star-pattern to accommodate the tiny plastic bag of toy Waddle Dee bread on which it preys. Meanwhile the gently chamfered oral hooks themselves have atrophied almost entirely, along with the paraoral adit. A small seam, perhaps a sensory adaptation, can be found around the entirety of the occlupanid’s edge. First discovered by FORC Scholar N. Juju, it has been observed on Kirby-themed miniature food sets (see Fig.1). Species described by N. Juju.
