An occlupanologist from Ontario Syntherid Collection and Research (OSCR) discovered this occlupanopsid in a hoard survey. A series of expeditions were dutifully launched by the OSCR, without much success. Meanwhile, specimens trickled in via donations. But the biome and host of this chartoniphytous conundrum remained a mystery. Almost a year later, a researcher stopped by a Farm Boy grocery store while on a road trip. Inside, specimens of S. elusus abounded, found on a host of bread products. Still others roamed freely outside on the parking lot. Despite this discovery, additional excursions to other Farm Boy locations have not yielded the same density of population. Species discovered by Cale L. (OSCR)
